Dear Newman Family,
Today is September 11th, and it is America’s Patriot Day and Day of Remembrance. It is called the Day of Remembrance, because we remember and honor those who died on September 11, 2001, when terrorists attacked us. We celebrate the service of men and women who served us that day. We are proud to be Americans, and we love the people of our land.
We do not stop there! . . . .
We are Newman! We are Warriors—Warriors of love, hope and faith! By way of truly celebrating service and remembering people, we learn to serve one another and unite our hearts to protect and love our great nation like patriots.
Let us not forget that September 11th is also called Patriot Day.
If you live in America and embrace her, you are a patriot! If you attend school at Newman, you are a Warrior! If we all learn to love America and her people, we are true to Newman!
