ABOUT OUR CAMPUS
Welcome to Newman International Academy of Irving
Here we partner with parents and community to raise warriors of Wisdom, Stature and Favor.
NIAI serves students from Pre-K through 6th grade in an environment of nurture and discipline, where children learn and grow — and where we celebrate even the smallest of triumphs.
Through parent partnership and the commitment and hard work of teachers and staff, we share a common goal: student growth and excellence in an environment that fosters success.
NIAI is a tuition-free public charter school that proudly combines a rigorous curriculum of East and West in a college-prep, classical environment, with an emphasis on the whole-child approach: character development, leadership, academics, foreign languages, athletics, S.T.E.A.M., fine arts, robotics, chess, and more.
Weekly character-development assemblies, co-curricular activities and a real connection to the community shape future leaders — Warriors of wisdom, stature and favor.
Our campus is at Irving Plaza, on East Airport Freeway.

Students who arrive after 7:45 AM are marked tardy for the day. A parent or guardian should accompany the student to the front office to receive a tardy slip before the student reports to class, so that every Warrior is properly checked in and arrives safely at the classroom.
Early Dismissal Days
Irving dismisses at
12:30 PM
On scheduled early dismissal days, Pre-K4 through 6th grade are dismissed at 12:30 PM instead of 3:30 PM. Check the district calendar for dates and plan pickup accordingly.
Please observe campus arrival, dress code and student conduct expectations so that every Warrior can begin the day prepared.

To keep scholars supervised, the campus office may be briefly closed during morning arrival and will close 30 minutes before afternoon dismissal.
