Welcome to Newman International Academy at Gibbins
Welcome to Newman International Academy's Arlington secondary campus, fondly referred to as “Gibbins" where we raise Warriors of Wisdom, Stature and Favor. Located in North Arlington on Gibbins Road, our academy is home to hundreds of remarkable students in 7th through 12th grades. Our gifted teachers are beyond highly qualified; they teach our students with love and nurture while developing their gifts. NIAA Gibbins is a tuition-free, open-enrollment, classical education, college-prep, public charter school, with an emphasis on Associate degree opportunities, character development, leadership, academics, foreign languages, athletics, STEM, fine arts, robotics, chess, Civil Air Patrol, and more!
In addition to rigorous academics, our students experience a weekly manners class, robotics club, chess, foreign languages, singing and performance, and character development. Our students thrive in our strong and disciplined academic program. Differentiated learning coupled with a carefully designed intervention program make our classrooms a place where innovative instruction meets student’s specific needs.

Students who arrive after 8:20 AM are marked tardy for the day. A parent or guardian should accompany the student to the front office to receive a tardy slip before the student reports to class, so that every Warrior is properly checked in and arrives safely at the classroom.
Early Release Days
Gibbins dismisses at
1:05 PM
On scheduled early release days, Gibbins students are dismissed at 1:05 PM instead of 4:05 PM. Check the district calendar for dates and plan pickup accordingly.
Please observe campus arrival, dress code and student conduct expectations so that every Warrior can begin the day prepared.
