It’s new virtual learning program  for high school students across Texas. Launching in Fall 2026, it allows students to take courses/classes 100% online.

Texas Senate Bill 569, passed in 2025, allows districts to offer more flexible learning models. Newman Virtual Academy was created to expand access and provide families with more choices while maintaining the quality of education

All courses are taught by Newman teachers who provide rigorous instruction, academic standards, and personalized support. Students receive the same high-quality experience as on-campus learners with the flexibility to learn anywhere in Texas.

Yes. Newman Virtual Academy is a permanent addition to Newman Schools of  academic offerings and was created to serve current and future students who need flexible learning options while maintaining a world-class education.
