Enrollment Process
Eight steps to Dual Credit
Follow these steps, in order, to enroll in Dual Credit coursework.
Step 1
Contact Your Campus Counselor
Begin by contacting the Dual Credit counselor at your campus.

Step 2
Apply for Admission
What should I know before I apply?
To participate in Dual Credit, you must have writing and reading test scores on file, as well as math scores if you plan to take a math class.

| Tarrant County | Complete and submit an ApplyTCC application . Use Firefox or Chrome for the best experience. |
| Dallas County | Complete the Dallas College online application . |
You may also use ApplyTexas as an alternate online application method.
Step 3
Complete the Pre-Assessment Activity
You must complete the Pre-Assessment Activity before taking the Texas Success Initiative Assessment.
Step 4
Complete Any Testing Requirements

Building confidence, independence and readiness for what comes next.
Step 5
Submit Supporting Documents
Submit all required documents, including the Dual Credit Student Information Sheet.
Your campus counselor will assist you throughout this process.
Prepare with Purpose
Academic preparation supported by counselors, teachers and families.
Step 6
Register for Classes
Work with your campus counselor and college representative to register for your approved Dual Credit courses.

Finish Preparing for Your Semester
Complete all remaining preparations, including paying for classes and obtaining any required course materials.
Step 8
Complete Dual Credit Orientation
Complete the required orientation before beginning your college coursework.
